Light tipper superstructures with mesh lateral sideboards by SLT GROUP are designed for 2-axle vehicles with gross vehicle weight of up to 18 tonnes. The three categories of light tippers are as follows:
- 3W ultralight for chassis up to 7 tonnes,
- 3W lightweight for chassis up to 12 tonnes,
- 3W lightweight for chassis up to 18 tonnes.
Due to the use of high-wear steel in the superstructure construction, they are most often used in the municipal sector for transporting bulky waste and waste sack collections. The high tipping and lowering speeds can be obtained due to the use of hydraulics from world-class manufacturers.
